Woman Hospitalized after Santa Rosa Pedestrian Crash on North Dutton Avenue

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (September 14, 2019) — A woman suffered serious injuries Monday night in a pedestrian crash on North Dutton Avenue.
 
The Santa Rosa police said a northbound vehicle struck the woman while she was crossing North Dutton Avenue at about 7:45 p.m. In addition, the area is north of West 8th Street.
 
The pedestrian sustained major injuries as a result of the crash. First responders took her to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
 
On the other hand, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
 
The police did not suspect that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. However, distraction may have been a factor. In addition, reports indicated that he may have been using his cell phone at the time of the crash.
