1 Hurt in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Mira Misa Boulevard near Greenford Drive
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 19, 2021) – Wednesday night, a 45-year-old woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard and Greenford Drive.
The crash happened just after 10:50 p.m., said San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims. Moreover, the incident occurred on Mira Mesa Boulevard near Greenford Drive, west of Interstate 15.
According to reports, a 23-year-old woman drove a 2017 Toyota Corolla west in the middle lane. Then, she merged into the right lane where she hit the 45-year-old woman who just stepped off the north curb.
Thus, responders transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. Her injuries include a skull fracture and a pelvic fracture.
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators.
