LAKEHEAD, CA (September 30, 2021) – Tuesday night, a woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 5 near Gilman Road.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Interstate 5 near Gilman Road.
 
Reports revealed that a northbound vehicle sideswiped a pick-up truck. As a result, both vehicles pulled over into the center median.
 
Furthermore, officers said that the female driver of the first vehicle jumped over the median wall several times. Then, it crossed into southbound traffic where a southbound car hit her.
 
Moreover, responders transported the woman to a hospital with leg injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the events leading to the crash remain under investigation.
