Dealing With Similar Incidents
In today’s current state of affairs, taking strolls outdoors is becoming the new normal. With this, the likelihood of accidents involving pedestrians increases.
Car accidents are far more common than pedestrian accidents. However, there is still reason to be wary when traveling on foot.
“Pedestrian accidents do not occur as much as motor vehicle accidents. However, the pedestrian accidents tend to include more serious injuries,” Tyler Toomey said. He is a practicing attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
“Some of the worst pedestrian incidents involve minors. It’s because they are sometimes hard to see. They also ride bikes, skateboards, etc. Pedestrian incidents usually occur in shopping center entrances and street corners,” he added.
