Merced, CA (May 06, 2022) – On Thursday morning, a woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on West Main Street.

Officers say the crash took place at about 9:25 a.m. at the intersection with N Street.

Responding officers located the victim in the middle of the roadway. She was awake and sitting on the roadway when the ambulance arrived.

They put the woman inside the ambulance with unknown injuries.

Meanwhile, the involved vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.
