69-year-old Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Vehicle in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 22, 2019) – A 69-year-old woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on University Avenue Tuesday morning.
The police said a vehicle struck the woman as she was crossing University Avenue near Highland Avenue at around 10 a.m. The woman suffered a broken pelvis and a brain bleed due to the hit. Emergency responders transported her to the hospital.
In the meantime, the 18-year-old female driver of the vehicle stopped after hitting the pedestrian. Subsequently, she cooperated with the police. Traffic division officers handle the investigation on this accident on University Avenue.
