72-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured in Pedestrian Accident on McPherson Road [Laredo, TX]

Laredo, TX (September 14, 2024) – 72-year-old woman was critically injured following a pedestrian accident on McPherson Road Friday afternoon.

It was past 1 p.m. when the traffic accident happened on Andrew Lane.

Troopers said the woman was hit by a vehicle after she crossed the road at a non-designated point of crossing.

The responding rescuers found the pedestrian found unconscious at the scene and transported to an area hospital.

Meanwhile, investigating officers said the driver did not have any signs of intoxication. They later released the driver and did not cite her.

LPD is still investigating the pedestrian accident on McPherson Road.
