Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Candlewood Drive [Petaluma, CA]

Petaluma, CA (June 12, 2023) – At about 9:16 a.m. on June 4, a woman sustained injuries following a pedestrian accident on Candlewood Drive.

Officers said a southbound car on North McDowell Boulevard attempted to make a left onto Candlewood Drive but collided with a pedestrian who have stepped off the sidewalk curb as she crossed Candlewood Drive.

Responding police and paramedics found the pedestrian on the roadway suffering from significant injuries. The medical team rushed the pedestrian to an area hospital in critical condition.

Moreover, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

The pedestrian, a female, was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition. 

According to the Petaluma Police Department, drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in the collision.
