Female Pedestrian Airlifted after Whittier Car Collision
WHITTIER, CA (September 16, 2019) – On Monday afternoon, a woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Larrylyn Drive.
According to the Whittier Police Department, the incident happened around 4:20 PM. Officers reported that a vehicle hit the victim at 11000 Larrylyn Drive. However, the cause of the accident or how the car hit the woman is currently unknown.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived shortly after receiving the police report of the accident. After that, they airlifted the victim in a Firehawk Paramedics helicopter. The unidentified woman suffered serious injuries from the incident. As a result, paramedics transported her to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
The victim’s identity is not yet known to the public.
