1 Hurt in San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Cardiff Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 13, 2020) – Saturday morning, a woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Cardiff Street.
According to reports, a woman illegally crossed the 1000 block of Cardiff Street at 9:15 p.m. After crossing outside a crosswalk and running against a red traffic signal, a south 2005 Dodge Ram truck hit the woman.
Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department confirmed that the truck couldn’t stop on time. Thus, the vehicle struck the woman. Meanwhile, responders took the person to a hospital.
The crash left the woman with a broken left leg and cut to the forehead. Meanwhile, the truck driver was uninjured.
Due to the limited information available, the crash remains under active investigation.
