SAN DIEGO, CA (October 30, 2019) – A 26-year-old woman sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on 54th Street on October 28.
 
San Diego police Sgt. Robert Hawkins revealed that the woman got struck while she crossed the road on 54th Street south of Nutmeg Street, near Oak Park Elementary School, at around 11:45 a.m.
 
Medical responders transported her to a hospital with a fractured femur and other injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old driver of the Lexus, involved in the crash, didn’t suffer any injury. She remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
