Injuries Reported in Morning 2-Car Crash on 215 Freeway in Colton
COLTON, CA (June 13, 2019) – An unidentified woman was injured Thursday morning, following a two-car crash on 215 Freeway.
The crash happened around 8:39 a.m., on southbound 215 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived just north of La Cadena Drive near Iowa Avenue shortly after.
CHP officials located a red Chrysler 300 in the center divider, and a white Honda Civic blocking the HOV lane upon arrival.
A female occupant inside the Honda sustained a broken thumb as a result of the crash. A 1-year-old child in the Honda remained unharmed.
Paramedics took the injured patient to a hospital for proper treatment. Towing services removed the vehicles from the crash site.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired.
An investigation is still ongoing to determine the factors involved and liability.
