Evening 3-Vehicle Collision on Highway 99 in Madera Injures 1
MADERA, CA (May 23, 2019) – A woman was injured following a three-vehicle crash Thursday evening on Highway 99 in Madera.
The crash happened around 7:26 p.m. along the northbound lanes of the highway, just North of Avenue 7 off-ramp.
Arriving officers located a white pickup truck, a silver Kia SUV and a black sedan. The black sedan crashed into the center divider. Bumpers and debris were scattered on the roadway.
A female occupant in the black sedan was reportedly bleeding from the face after the crash. Emergency crews took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The extent of injuries sustained and the condition of the woman were not immediately available.
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
