Pickup Truck and Sedan Collide on Highway 121 in Sonoma, Injuries and Damage Reported

 
SONOMA, CA (June 23, 2019) – An unidentified woman was injured Sunday afternoon following a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 121.
 
The crash happened around 12:17 p.m., on Highway 121 near Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards. Dispatches arrived to the area shortly after.
 
According to reports, a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a gray Honda Insight were involved in the collision. Both vehicles were found blocking the northbound lanes upon officers arrival.
 
A female occupant was also found outside one of the vehicles, and was bleeding from the nose. An ambulance unit was immediately dispatched to render aid. However, there has been no update on her current condition.
 
Furthermore, the Honda sustained major front-end damage as a result of the impact. Towing services were required due to the extent of damage.
 
The surrounding area was closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clear the wreckage. However, the roadway has since reopened.
 
It is currently unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
