1 Hurt in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Paradise Valley Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (August 22, 2021) – Friday night, a 63-year-old woman sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Paradise Valley Road.
According to reports, a woman walked across Paradise Valley Road in the 7800 block at 9:29 p.m. Then, a westbound vehicle hit her and escaped the scene, said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.
As a result, the victim sustained pelvic and tibia/fibula fractures. Thus, responders took her to the hospital, Heims added. Meanwhile, the officers confirmed that she sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
San Diego traffic division officers handle the crash investigation.
