Briggitth Guandique Arrested after Hit-And-Run Crash on Highway 14 in Canyon Country
Canyon Country, CA (April 6, 2023) – On Wednesday, a 48-year-old female driver sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 14.
The hit-and-run crash on Highway 14 happened on April 5.
CHP said the Accord driver sustained major injuries due to the incident and was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment.
Investigators said a witness returned to the crash scene and gave officers information about a second vehicle, a 2004 Toyota Camry, that was also involved in the collision.
With new information, officers identified the other vehicle’s driver as a 22-year-old Palmdale woman and responded to her address.
After interviewing Briggitth Guandique, officers arrested her on suspicion of hit-and-run causing injury.
Currently, Guandique is booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
