SAN DIEGO, CA (June 24, 2021) – On Friday, a woman sustained injuries after a suspected pedestrian hit-and-run crash on Hotel Circle Place.
 
According to San Diego police Officer Scott Lockwood, witnesses saw a woman clinging on the hood of a moving Jeep. The crash happened on Hotel Circle Place near Hotel Circle North in Mission Valley.
 
Furthermore, responders transported the unconscious woman to a hospital with skull fractures. The jeep fled the scene after the incident.
 
Moreover, officers spotted a white Jeep on east Hotel Circle South on Tuesday morning and followed it up to State Route 163.
 
After deploying a police helicopter and a canine officer, the officer turned on his light. Then, he pulled over the jeep on north Interstate 15 near the Ted Williams Parkway exit. The suspect was arrested at around 8:00 a.m.
 
Meanwhile, officials said that the suspect will be facing charges for assault with a deadly weapon.
