1 Hurt in Fontana Car Accident
FONTANA, CA (April 8, 2019) – A woman suffered injuries in a head-on car accident on April 5.
CHP and the San Bernardino County Fire Department came to respond to a collision around 9:20 p.m. in the 9000 block of Hemlock Avenue.
According to authorities, a northbound gray Nissan Versa driver struck a female driver of a white Toyota Corolla traveling south on Hemlock.
Witnesses revealed that the Nissan driver went out of his car and attempted to escape. However, witnesses stopped him from leaving until the authorities came.
Meanwhile, the injured person received treatment from emergency medical responders. The medics eventually took the injured to a local hospital.
According to CHP, alcohol played a role in the crash. They also arrested the Nissan driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
