Pedestrian Struck by Suspected DUI Driver at Hayworth Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard

 
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA (July 4, 2018) – A woman was hospitalized early Wednesday morning following a suspected DUI Pedestrian Collision on North Hayworth Avenue.
 
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s West Hollywood Station, the collision happened at about 2 AM. A female pedestrian was attempting to cross in the area of North Hayworth Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard when she was struck by a Lexus.
 
The victim was transported to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. Her identity and current condition were not immediately available. Meanwhile, the driver of the Lexus was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
 
No additional information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
