Mason County Woman Hurt in Shelton Accident on US 101 and East Shelton Springs Road

SHELTON, WA (June 20, 2022) – Saturday, a 50-year-old woman suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on US 101 and East Shelton Springs Road.

The incident occurred at around 7:00 p.m. on US 101 and East Shelton Springs Road, near Port of Shelton.

According to reports, the Hoodsport woman headed north on US 101. Meanwhile, a 19-year-old Union Woman just left the parking lot of an area business.

However, the 19-year-old woman failed to stop oncoming traffic. As a result, the Hoodsport woman collided with her, then rolled over. Eventually, the vehicle landed on the driver’s side.

Reports confirmed that the Union woman failed to wear a seat belt at the time of the crash. However, officers confirmed that she suffered no injuries in the crash.

Meanwhile, responders took the Hoodsport woman to Mason General Hospital with injuries.
