Safe Driving on Washington Roadways
Sharing the road is a shared responsibility. It is important to keep an eye out for those who are on the road with you.
The Washington Traffic Safety Commission has a plan titled “Target Zero”, intending to decrease deaths and serious injuries on Washington’s roadways to zero by 2030. Despite this, accidents statewide continue to take the lives of hundreds each year. In fact, Washington traffic-related deaths hit a 25-year record high in the year 2022.
