CLOVIS, CA (October 23, 2022) – Saturday morning, a woman suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Shaw Avenue near Villa Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at about 11:00 a.m. on Shaw Avenue near Villa Avenue. Moreover, it happened in the Sonic Drive-In parking lot at the Sunflower Marketplace shopping center.
 
According to reports, a vehicle run a woman over and trapped her underneath.
 
“When officers got on-scene the pedestrian was still underneath the vehicle in the parking lot. Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene and assisted with getting the subject out from underneath the vehicle,” says Lt. Jim Koch.
 
Reports confirmed that the driver turned the parking lot and failed to see the pedestrian walking.
 
Then, responders took the woman to the hospital in critical condition.
 
Furthermore, the driver has been cooperative with the investigation.
