26-Year-Old Woman Injured in Rollover Crash on State Route 67 and Ellie Lane [Poway, CA]

Injuries Reported in Poway Auto Accident on State Route 67 and Ellie Lane

 
POWAY, CA (March 6, 2023) – Saturday, a 26-year-old woman suffered injuries in a rollover crash on State Route 67 and Ellie Lane.
 
The incident happened at 11:12 p.m. on State Route 67, north of Ellie Lane.
 
San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies found an unconscious woman in the roadway on SR 67. Emergency crews transported her to Sharp Memorial Hospital via ambulance.
 
Reports revealed that the woman driving south on SR-67 drove across the northbound lanes. Then, she drove up an embankment and flipped her sedan — hitting another car on SR-67.
 
Then, responders took the male driver of the second vehicle to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido with minor injuries.
 
At this time, the authorities suspect that alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Moreover, the Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (STAR) responded to the scene. Also, the highway remained closed in both directions until around 5 a.m.
