WESTMINSTER, CA (June 30, 2022) – Wednesday, a woman sustained injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Kalamath Drive and Iroquois Road.
 
According to Westminster police Cmdr. Kevin MacCormick, the incident happened at around 6:15 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Kalamath Drive and Iroquois Road.
 
Reports revealed that a silver Ford Explorer struck a 30 to 35 years old female pedestrian while crossing the street. Then, the surveillance video showed that the pedestrian looked both ways before crossing the road. Then, she ran across after seeing a vehicle approaching her.
 
Moreover, responders rushed the victim to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange with critical injuries.
 
Furthermore, officers confirmed that the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
 
Meanwhile, authorities asked anyone with information about the hit-and-run vehicle to contact Sgt. Anil Adam at 714-548-3770.
