GOODYEAR, AZ (December 1, 2022) – Wednesday, a woman suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash near Interstate 10 and Estrella Parkway.
 
The incident happened at about 5:00 p.m. near Interstate 10 and Estrella Parkway. According to reports, as a woman exited a Walmart, a vehicle struck her.
 
As a result, responders took her to the hospital in serious condition.
 
Meanwhile, officers later found the hit-and-run vehicle near 195th Avenue and Van Buren Street. Then, the authorities arrested the driver and booked him on charges including aggravated assault.
 
At this time, the driver could face DUI, since authorities suspected impairment as a factor in the crash.
 
Also, they haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.
