Female Hit-and-Run Motorist Wanted after Hitting School Employee near Mill Street
LANCASTER, CA (August 28, 2018) – A woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash on 2nd Street, early Tuesday morning. The victim was only identified as a school employee, her name and place of residence were not immediately disclosed.
A report from the California Highway Patrol stated that the collision happened at approximately 6:00 AM at Mill Street School, near Mill Street.
According to the Orland Police Department, the woman was crossing in the crosswalk on Second and Mill when she was struck by a blue Honda. The driver fled the scene after the incident, leaving the injured woman in the road. The driver was described to be an adult Hispanic woman with black hair. No further details have been released.
