One Hurt in Vallejo Car Accident on Lemon Street

 
VALLEJO, CA (June 7, 2019) – A woman sustained major injuries in a car accident on Lemon Street on June 5.
 
The 53-year-old woman from Vallejo drove a southbound 2014 Kia Forte on Lemon Street about 10:40 p.m. As she turned left onto 780 Freeway, a westbound 2002 Ford Explorer hit the Kia, Lt. Michael Nichelini revealed.
 
Responders extricated the woman from the Kia. They also took her to a hospital, where she was in critical condition.
 
Meanwhile, the Ford Explorer driver sustained minor injuries, Nichelini added.
