Car and Bicycle Accident Near Willow Avenue
FONTANA, CA (August 24, 2019) – A young woman sustained injuries in a bicycle accident on Sierra Avenue on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Willow Avenue at approximately 7:22 AM. Based on a report, the victim on a bicycle crossed into Willow Avenue traffic on a red light and was struck by a car.
The paramedics took the woman to Community Regional Medical Center for broken arms and legs. She also had abrasions to her face. Her name was not provided.
The driver stopped and cooperated with police. However, an investigation by the authorities is on-going.
