56-year-old Woman Injured after Bicycle Collides with Jeep in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 03, 2019) — A woman sustained injuries in a bicycle accident on Midway Drive Friday afternoon.
According to the San Diego police, the incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of Midway Drive.
The 56-year-old woman was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk. At the same time, a 39-year-old man driving a Jeep was waiting for traffic to pass so that he could pull out of a private parking lot. The vehicle and the bicycle collided when the Jeep began pulling onto the street.
The bicyclist suffered severe head trauma in the crash as per the officers. Investigation of the accident continues.
