Santa Rosa Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101
SANTA ROSA, CA (September 23, 2019) – A woman became hospitalized after a pedestrian accident on Highway 101 northbound on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened just south of Roberts Lake Road about 7:48 PM.
Based on a report, the victim was walking eastbound from the west side of the road when she was hit by a Nissan Frontier pickup driven by Jerry Douglas, 67, of Glen Ellen.
The paramedics took her to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by ambulance. They reported that the victim suffered major injuries.
Officers determined Douglas was sober at the time of the crash. However, an investigation is ongoing.
