18-Year-Old Female Injured in ATV Accident near South Oak Street in Kennewick
KENNEWICK, WA (April 22, 2020) – Monday evening, an unidentified woman was hospitalized after an ATV collision on Fairway Street.
Authorities arrived to the area near Fairway Street and South Oak Street around 9:00 p.m. The crash was between an Acura passenger car and ATV. However, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear.
Upon the paramedics’ arrival, they took the 18-year-old female operator of the ATV to a local hospital with serious injuries. Authorities suspect that she was not wearing a helmet at the time.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Acura remained uninjured.
The surrounding area on Fairway Street was closed off for multiple hours during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened.
