Woman Hospitalized in Big Rig Crash on 6001 Homestead Road [Houston, TX]

Rescuers Respond to Houston Collision

Houston, TX (April 21, 2023) – At about 1:48 a.m. yesterday, a female driver was transported to a hospital following a big rig crash on 6001 Homestead Road.

HPD and HFD responded to the crash scene and located a sedan that struck a semi-truck hauling gravel at a high rate of speed.

The woman driving the sedan was trapped inside the car.

Accident report stated that it took firefighters about 15 minutes to free the woman from the wreckage. Afterward, the rescuers transported her to an area trauma center in unknown condition.

In the meantime, the authorities are still investigating the traffic accident.
