Male Hits, Seriously Injures Female Pedestrian in Simi Valley

 
SIMI VALLEY, CA (January 14, 2019) – Monday night, a unidentified woman who police said was in her sixties was hit by a car and injured in a parking lot accident.
 
According to the Valley Police Department, the incident was reported around 6:15 PM in the parking lot of a dine-in theater, Studio Movie Grill.
 
Authorities stated that an SUV, driven by a man in his 50’s, struck the victim. Due to the collision the woman sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The status of her current condition has not been disclosed.
 
The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and was cooperating with police. Drugs and alcohol did not appear to be contributing factors.
