Crash on South Real Road Left 1 Woman Dead
Bakersfield, CA (August 14, 2020) – One woman was killed in a vehicle-pedestrian crash on South Real Road on late Sunday night.
The tragic incident happened on August 9 in the 2700 block of South Real Road. Hall Ambulance and Bakersfield Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and found the woman who had been hit by a vehicle.
The woman reportedly suffered major injuries due to the impact of the collision. Medical personnel transported the woman to the hospital for treatments. However, on Tuesday, August 11th, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
Kern County Coroner’s office said they will release the victim’s identity.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. The investigators believed that drugs, alcohol, and speed were not a factor in the deadly crash.

This incident marks the 22nd fatal collision that happened within the Bakersfield City this year.
