Woman Fatally Struck by Toyota Corolla on Interstate 805 [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (October 21, 2021) – On Thursday, a female pedestrian was killed in an Interstate 805 accident.

Officers said the fatal crash took place at around 4 a.m. near Market Street.

Reports said that the woman was trying to cross the traffic lanes when an oncoming Toyota Corolla hit her.

Unfortunately, the unidentified pedestrian died at the scene. 

That authorities said it is not yet determined why the woman tried to cross the freeway lanes.
