Crash on Beach Boulevard Near Orange Avenue and Ball Road Leaves 1 Pedestrian Dead

 
Anaheim, CA (May 29, 2020)– A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian accident on Beach Boulevard Wednesday night.
 
On May 27, the incident occurred on Beach Boulevard between Orange Avenue and Ball Road at about 10:30 p.m.
 
Anaheim Police Department reported that the pedestrian, an unidentified woman, was hit by a passing vehicle.
 
Anaheim police spokesman Sgt. Shane Carringer said that the woman was not in the designated crosswalk when she was hit by the vehicle.
 
Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
 
Upon investigating, Carringer said that neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the fatal accident.
