Woman Dies in Watt Avenue Pedestrian Accident [North Highlands, CA]

North Highlands, CA (November 25, 2022) – On Wednesday night, a woman lost her life following a Watt Avenue pedestrian accident.

The fatal collision took place around 5:41 p.m. just south of Winona Way.

According to the authorities, a man driving was driving a northbound van when a woman crossed Watt Avenue, outside of a marked crosswalk. 

The vehicle struck the woman who later died from her injuries.

Officers say the van driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. They do not believe alcohol or drugs are a factor in the traffic accident in North Highlands.
