Woman Dies in Rear-End Collision on Gulf Freeway [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (November 3, 2023) – A female driver sustained fatal injuries following a rear-end collision on Gulf Freeway Wednesday morning.

The fatal 2-vehicle collision happened at about 1 a.m. on the Gulf Freeway feeder road near College Avenue.

The authorities said the at-fault vehicle was traveling very fast and rear-ended the woman’s vehicle and pushed it through the intersection at a red light.

Investigators said there’s no indication that the driver of the vehicle that rear-ended tried to slow down.

Officers are investigating to determine wether drugs or alcohol was involved in the accident.
