Pierce County, WA (August 28, 2024) –  A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 5 Monday night.

WSP officers stated it was approximately 10:35 p.m. when the female pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the southbound lanes of the highway.

It was unfortunate that she was declared dead at the scene.

Moreover, the involved driver remained and cooperated with the authorities.
