Woman Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Bear Valley Road [Apple Valley, CA]

Apple Valley, CA (November 29, 2023) – A woman was killed following a pedestrian accident on Bear Valley Road Tuesday afternoon.

The authorities responded to the accident scene at 5:50 p.m. and located a woman lying in the center turn lane of Bear Valley Road east of Iroquois Road. 

Investigators said the woman was walking south across Bear Valley Road when she was hit by the Chevrolet. Unfortunately, the woman was declared dead at the scene.

Officers said a white 2016 Chevrolet Traverse with driver’s side front-end damage and no front headlight was involved in the accident.

The driver of that vehicle did not sustain injuries from the accident and cooperated with the investigation.
