Woman Dies, Others Injured in Avenue 9 Head-On Crash [Madera, CA]

Driver in Her 50s Killed in Madera Multi-Vehicle Crash

 
Madera, CA (July 09, 2021) – On Wednesday, a female driver in her 50’s died in Avenue 9 head-on crash.
 
The fatal crash took place just before 5 p.m. east of Road 33 1/2.
 
Apparently, a Toyota Tacoma male driver was westbound on Avenue 9 when he yanked his wheel to the left.
 
His vehicle struck a car in front of him, that car then struck the vehicle in front of it.
 
Officers said the impact sent the Tacoma driver into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on with a woman in a Nissan.
 
Unfortunately, the female driver died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, officers said everyone else involved sustained minor injuries and weren’t taken to the hospital.
 
The authorities do not consider alcohol and drugs as factors in the crash.
