Losing Someone Dear in a Road Accident
It is normal for someone to feel devastated when an unexpected tragedy like this one happened. That is why it is important to know that if we lost a dear one in an accident, we may recover damages through a wrongful death suit.
A wrongful death suit allows families to hold parties liable for the irrevocable damages they have caused. It is a civil action brought forth by relatives of a deceased victim whose death was caused by another person’s negligence.
One of its benefits is that it alleviates most or all of the financial burden the death of a relative has generated.
Meanwhile, are you aware that nearly 1.25 million people die in traffic accidents every year?
That means, on average, road accidents like the multi-vehicle collision on 91 Freeway cause 3,287 fatalities per day. With such figures, road accidents are the leading cause of death in the U.S. for people aged 1-54.
