Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Del Monte Avenue
Yuba City, CA (May 20, 2022) On Thursday, a female pedestrian died after a hit-and-run collision on garden Highway.
According to the Yuba City Police Department (YCPD), the fatal crash happened near Del Monte Avenue just before 6 a.m.
Reports say that the woman was walking westward along the highway when the vehicle struck the woman.
Moreover, the suspect vehicle did not stop and continued southward on Garden Highway.
Paramedics transported the woman to Adventist Rideout Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police describe the suspect vehicle as a gray 2-door Honda coupe sedan, model 2009 to 2012 that has a front right side.
