Woman Dies in Head-On Crash on Old River Road [Guerneville, CA]

Guerneville, CA (June 28, 2024) – A woman was killed in a head-on crash on Old River Road Tuesday night.

It was past 10 p.m. when the collision happened west of Martinelli Road.

Troopers said the woman was driving an eastbound Toyota Sienna on Old River Road. At the same time, a man was driving a westbound Chevrolet Sonic on the same road.

Officers said one of the vehicles crossed the double yellow line and collided head-on with the other vehicle.

The woman and her passenger, along with the Chevy driver, were transported to the hospital.

The woman succumbed to her injuries on the way to hospital. Her passenger incurred moderate injuries and the Chevy driver suffered major injuries but survived.

Troopers are still investigating this collision.
