Woman Dies in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 [Lynwood, WA]

Lynwood, WA (August 28, 2021) On Friday morning, a female pedestrian died in a fatal pedestrian accident on a sidewalk along Highway 99.

According to the Lynwood Police, the incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. as the driver was pulling out of aValue Village parking lot.

Moreover, authorities say that the pedestrian was walking along a sidewalk when she was hit by the vehicle turning right towards the highway.

Unfortunately, the pedestrian died at the scene. Police have not released her information pending notification of kin.

Meanwhile, the driver did not leave the scene and was cooperative with the police. As of Friday afternoon, police have not arrested anyone yet.
