Pedestrian Fatally Struck on East Mission Avenue
Spokane, WA (January 26, 2022) – On Monday, a woman in her 70’s died in an East Mission Avenue pedestrian accident.
Officers responded to the crash scene minutes after 6 p.m. near North Columbus Street.
Some of the residents performed CPR on the woman until the authorities arrived.
The Spokane Fire Department and American Medical Response arrived but the woman succumbed to her injuries.
Moreover, the involved driver cooperated with the authorities’ investigation.
Officers said impairment does not appear to be a factor in this fatal collision.
