Fatal Vehicle and Bicycle Crash Near Walnut Avenue
VISALIA, CA (December 23, 2019) – The authorities confirmed that a woman died after a bicycle crash on Mooney Boulevard on early Monday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Walnut Avenue around 6:30 PM.
Reports from the Visalia Police Department showed that the 50-year-old victim rode her bike when a 2004 Ford F-150 hit her.
The victim was unresponsive and transported to Kaeweah Delta Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead due to major injuries. Her name was not yet released.
The collision is still under investigation.
