Woman Dies in Bicycle Accident on Livorna Road [Alamo, CA]

Alamo, CA (October 10, 2024) – A woman was fatally injured in a bicycle accident on Livorna Road Wednesday.

The fatal crash unfolded at approximately 11:12 a.m. under the Interstate 680 overpass.

CHP officers said a man in a Toyota bZ3X was parked on the right shoulder of westbound Livorna Road.

The man drove and crashed into an oncoming bicycle.

Sadly, the woman riding the bicycle was killed at the crash scene. 

The Toyota’s driver, on the other hand, was not hurt.

The California Highway Patrol Contra Costa division is asking anyone who witnessed the bicycle accident on Livorna Road to call them at (925)-646-4980 or email contact information to [email protected].
