Woman Dies in 5 Freeway Pedestrian Accident [Sun Valley, CA]

Sun Valley, CA (August 21, 2021) – On Friday, a woman lost her life in 5 Freeway pedestrian accident.

Officers received the accident report at 7:13 p.m. on the southbound freeway connecting to southbound 170 Freeway.

The authorities said the victim was standing on the freeway when she was struck and killed by a vehicle.

Unfortunately, the woman died at the accident scene. Officers withheld her identity pending notification of her next of kin.
