One Fatally Hurt in Barstow Pedestrian Crash on Main Street
BARSTOW, CA (November 12, 2019) – A 41-year-old woman died following a pedestrian crash on Main Street in Barstow on Sunday, November 10.
According to a local news source, officers received reports of the accident around 8:58 p.m. on Main Street, just east of May Avenue.
The woman, a resident of Barstow, was struck by a vehicle on Main Street for undetermined reasons.
The woman suffered serious injuries. Paramedics rushed her to Barstow Community Hospital by ambulance. They later airlifted her to Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) where she died while undergoing treatment.
The identity of the woman was withheld pending notification of her family.
There is no additional information provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is still ongoing.
